Sullamussalam Science College, Areekode, affiliated with the University of Calicut, Kerala, has consistently upheld its commitment to academic excellence, receiving commendable accreditation ratings from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) across multiple cycles. These achievements reflect the college's dedication to providing exceptional education and fostering a conducive learning environment. 

In 2005, during its first cycle of accreditation, Sullamussalam Science College was awarded a B+ grade by the NAAC. This recognition acknowledged the college's good infrastructure, qualified faculty, and effective student support services. 

In the second cycle of accreditation in 2014, the college achieved an impressive A grade, highlighting its commitment to continuous improvement and high academic standards. This period saw the introduction of innovative programs such as B.Voc Software Technologies and Broadcasting and Journalism, alongside the establishment of the Astra project for women skilling and entrepreneurship. The college also enhanced its infrastructure with a renovated canteen, a semi-paperless office, and multiple sports facilities. The establishment of an IPR cell and the initiation of various research and student enrichment programs further underscored the college's dedication to academic and research excellence. 

By the third cycle of accreditation in 2019, Sullamussalam Science College once again earned an A grade with an improved grade point, reaffirming its position as a premier institution in the region. The college's commitment to quality education, research-driven learning, and student welfare has been recognized and celebrated by the NAAC, reinforcing its reputation as an esteemed educational institution. Sullamussalam Science College expresses gratitude to its faculty, staff, and students, whose collective efforts have significantly contributed to the college's success in each accreditation cycle. 

Further as per the letter No. NAAC/SR/BSP/A&A/Cycle-4/2025/ dated 24.09.2025 the validity of the existing accreditation of the college, 'A' grade with CGPA 3.11 has been extended by NAAC until three months after the launch of maturity based graded levels (MBGL). Since the MBGL has not yet launched, the college has valid accreditation until three months after the launch of MBGL.
